The Tomy PMC-060 and PMC-860 Capsulefuges are the ideal personal centrifuges. The Capsulefuges are available in two versions that spin either 1.5 to 2.2ml microtubes or 8-well tube-strips (200 micro litters size), and they are so economical, you can afford one for each person in the lab.
 
The PMC Series Capsulefuges are handy mini centrifuges. They are a perfect alternative to conventional micro-centrifuges when you do not need the high-speed.
Model PMC-060 spins six 1.5 to 2.5ml tubes at 6,400 rpm, generating 2,000(g). The PMC-060 is suitable for many takes requiring low g forces such as spinning down samples or washing cells. The PMC-060 also has more inside clearance to accommodate 2ml skirted tubes.
The PMC-860 provides a fast, easy and condensation form tube-strip caps. It features a patented rotor that accepts 8-well tube-strips.
The PMC Series Capsulefuges are easy to load and operate with no knobs to set or buttons to press. Simply close the lid to start it then push the tab and open the lid to stop it.
The rotor stops immediately when the lid is opened to avoid possible injury form moving parts. If a less abrupt stop is required, push the stop tab and leave the lid closed until the rotor comes to a smooth stops.
The PMC Series Capsulefuges were designed with durability in mind. They feature reinforced stop tabs, strong hinge supports and a wide base for stability.
